Default Is it wrong to iron your husbands shirt?
My misses irons my clothes and probably everyone i know has a lovely lady to iron for them.How many women iron their husbands clothes or would if were married?

There shouldn't be a dedicated person FFS, things like ironing/doing dishes/washing clothes should just be done evenly.

I do dishes,I also cook.I just tend to stay away from the washer or iron,Those appliances don't seem to get on with me very well.

What I mean is I don't think guys should refuse to learn to do these things just cause they expect the wife/girlfriend to do it all

I hate ironing and DIY. Other half hates washing up and doesn't know where the washing machine is. Fair trade, no?

When away from home iron my own clothes however when at home my Mum would go right off it if I didn't let her iron my things.

I don't think it matters a great deal and from all I have seen women do iron, shirts especially, most times far better than a man can.

I wouldn't expect anyone to do mine.

Only wrong when they think you have to.

Personally, I only iron a couple of times a year...and I don't iron anyone's shirts.

Teaching hubby to cook now as well

No, but whoever may take on the 'role' of ironing if you like must be doing so through choice, not because of this outdated, sexist belief that because you've got a twat it's your job. That's the problem.

I love to cook and my other half loves me to cook,Even though she's not a bad cook herself,It's kinda like art to me,I really enjoy it.Probably not fair really cos she does'nt love ironing as much as i love cooking but she's much better at it than me and she chooses to do it.I could'nt force her to do anything she did'nt want to.lol

We both iron his shirts. I do it sometimes and other times he does it. He is actually a better ironer than I am. We share all the chores. When we both work its not fair on just one person doing everything.

We buy/wear things which don't need ironed And we share responsibility for household chores. I think as long as the various responsibilities (kids, house, bills, chores, garden, car, DIY, etc.) are shared then it doesn't matter who does what.
