Normally, I would vote pigs. Not only do they have distinct personalities (my Auntie's since deceased pig would come when called) but they taste delicious.

Recently though, I would have to say (a specific) duck. I've known him since he was an ostracised duckling on my pond at work, where I was the only one to pay him any attention, from me naming him Henry and feeding him multigrain sugar-free cereals thrice a day, to him coming to me when he's called by name, and quacking like mad. I know I might be mad, but that duck and I have a special bond. Love Henry.
