Jim has the exact opposite image and when he says things like that it just makes him sound like a creepy uncle perving on his nieces. One minute he is trying to come across as a father figure, next he's leching over her. It doesn't sit right with me.

Its like a gay man calling his female friend a bitch, he would get away with it and it would be taken as a joke and funny, a straight man who is not camp in the slightest couldn't get away with it.
