I used to take a day off work every year on the final to watch live feed all day.

I also went away for the first two weeks of BB3 so I made my mum record every episode on video and I watched all the footage the day I got back....a

So it looks like joining the forum was the least questionable part of your BB addiction

I was just as bad. I used to go on an 02 phone chat room when BB5 was on. I'd sit up watching live feed chatting to people about it. I enjoyed them days though really cos it's when all my friends were into it as well. Plus more of the general population. But yes, mines less now too if it was the same format and a good series though I'd probably get addicted to the LF again.

We used to have a night in on the start of the series and write our first impressions Down - most fanciable, most annoying, most likely winner etc and then someone would hold on to the sealed envelope until the final when we would have another night in, open the envelope and see how wrong our first impressions were. And this is all when I actually had a life before children

Big Brother did strange things to people back then I remember being away at some castle thing (people literally called it 'the castle') and texting my friend getting updates of the final. And then she called me and screamed the winner down the phone. I would've rather been there watching it than away at the time LOL

..we always went away in the first few weeks of the school holidays and that was when BB final was always on so I quite often missed it, which was really devastating after watching for so many weeks but I couldn't really ask my family to try to find somewhere on holiday that would show it...although I did catch a bit of the BB3 final when we were away once...

Old BB

Event television. It'll never be like that again, but it's becoming more popular now again. This show will never die
