Asked why she was dateless for the evening, Michelle replied: “Cara’s at her own fashion week party tonight, so doing her own thing.” The independent types, then.

After meeting up ahead of the Brits tomorrow night, the inseparable – except on Bafta night – couple are reuniting in Los Angeles next month for Cara’s older sister Poppy’s hen do.

I’m told: “It’s still really fresh and exciting for both of them. They’re really happy and loved-up, and spending as much time together as possible.

“They’re also forever texting and messaging one another.

“Michelle has been invited to Poppy’s hen do in Los Angeles which is a big deal, and shows just how cool and accepting all Cara’s friends and family are. No one has batted an eyelid.”

Michelle and Cara, who were introduced in the States through mutual friends, have been dividing their time between London and California.

Like most so called bi celeb women, once they have soaked up the publicity from same sex media attention they will inevitably date men see Lindsey Lohan, Drew Barrymore, Rachel Evan Wood, Amber Heard, Anna Paquin and Megan Fox.
