And please don't preach to me about what 13 year olds know and discuss, I was that age too but discussing things at school or with friends is completely different circumstances.

It also works both ways, I can pretty much guarantee that most parents on here don't feel comfortable seeing members that are similar aged to their children have these types of discussions.

So my answer to people that feel the need to post or read OTT sexual threads would be to go find a more suitable website or forum.
Why are you being rude? I wasn't to you

I can only think of a handful of under 16 members anyway, so I'd need to be shown some examples of this underage sexual discussion happening...not that there is anything wrong with that anyway...people under 16 are allowed to discuss and think about sex (though I do see the issue with people over 18 feeling uncomfortable discussing it with them, that I do understand - but then isn't that why an over 18 section has been suggested in the past anyway?).

They aren't different circumstances at all. My original point was that there's been no discussions on here that the large majority of 13 year olds wouldn't understand, in which case banning them to 'protect their innocence' or whatever is an unnecessary reason, it changes nothing.

As for the parents asking what they're doing online and not assuming there'd be sexual discussions on a Big Brother forum...I really, really don't think that should be the top of their priorities, considering there is actual depictions of sex available for them to watch quite freely, which they probably are watching (not that I think there's anything wrong with that either but that's a separate discussion altogether), so this issue pales into insignificance in that respect anyway.

I'm not really bothered on this issue either way, the main reason I posted in the first place was because I objected to the idea that they should be banned because of the 13 year olds on here.
