Yeah I'm with Ammi in this one. It could drive a wedge between you and won't change the last couple of years, yes he may think about it if he were to meet someone else but probably not. I have had friends who have done similar and I was just happy that they felt able to come back and carry on as before. It's obviously your call Greg, you have to do what feels right for you.

..I think that's exactly it, Annie...friendships don't always burn at the same brightness..quite often other things take priority in people's lives and the friendship fades a bit...and I do understand that feeling of being lest out or pushed aside but that happens and it isn't an intentional thing and I think the thing for me that I would focus on is not that I had felt that I wasn't important anymore at a time in their lives but that it was a sign of a strength in our friendship that the person felt they wanted to renew it again...

..I think it's also understandably hard to feel happy for a friend who has found someone that they want to spend all of their time with when it means that it will take them away from their own friendship with that person people can often think, oh I don't think that person is good for my friend/I don't like them that much..?...you know..?..
