I think he means that someone who makes a thread and promotes it is more likely to get more bids then someone who just makes a thread and waits for something to happen.

..ahh, thanks Armand but Annie and I haven't really promoted our thread other than make a few posts in it because we think if people want to post they will and I'd rather leave it like that..I think I only referred to it to one person in a jokey way and they haven't bid anyway.. but anyone can promote theirs if they want to and feel it'll help it so it's still no disadvantage to anyone...
