Loads of winners do this. The biggest way an anonymous winners name leaks out and is uncovered is if the winner confides in a friend or neighbour and then they blab it around town and eventually internet/ media find out. If a winner decides to remain anonymous, then Camelot can't help if winners name leaks out. In other words the winner shouldn't really tell anyone other than a partner and parents.

The irish woman Delores (?) who won £75m almost 10 years ago was forced to go public with win as she stupidly blabbed to pub pals who went to newspapers.
