Default Qatar puts its foot down with dress code for Tourists: World Cup

  • 'If you are in Qatar, you are one of us': Qatar aims to educate tourists on modesty
  • Men wearing shorts and singlets in public will be frowned upon
  • Women should also avoid wearing garments which are too short or too tight, such as mini-skirts or sleeveless dresses




ADVICE FOR VISITORS TO QATAR

Women should dress modestly and men should not be shirtless in public

Public displays of affection and intimacy are strongly discouraged

Ask permission before taking a photo of someone you don't know personally

it should never have been given to them in the first place. They've never qualified, they're never going to qualify unless they're hosts, the weather'll be unbearable... and they're not exactly the most tolerant country around....

what a load of Sh1t, Women should be able to dress anyway they please (within the grounds of common decency)

Why the hell did FIFA go down this road, can anyone imagine how hot it is going to be in Qatar and yet one has to keep one's body completely covered up lest they offend some imaginary Deity........ ridiculous
