Froch wasn't that bad in his interview, said both of them should be proud and that they were neck and neck till that punch which was definitely true and if anything Froch had been slightly ahead, Groves was the one trying to claim he'd had the upper hand till then which was bollocks

the whole cockey persona in boxing is just a character trait anyway, you don't really think they are actually act like they do in promos or interviews at home or away from the sport, it just makes the build up more exciting and the fight more sellable, if they both played the good guy then where would all the pre match attention go on? in some ways its as much entertainment as WWE until they step into the ring

I think what gets to me is that he thinks hes a elite fighter when he isnt even close imo.
When hes faced an elite fighter hes lost.

So Froch wins. Didnt see it but when a boxer says the fight is even then he's probably knows he's losing. They cant show any weakness.

Froch is too old to go on from this. Gonna be interesting to see what he does.

I will never forget Froch being outclassed in his amateur days by a Russian southpaw fighter - dont know his name cuz most of them don't turn pro - but he gave Froch a lesson that told me Froch aint no elite fighter. Froch couldn't get past this guys jab. It was lightening fast and it caught him every single time. This guy was one hell of a fighter shame he never turned pro. After three rounds Froch wasnt to keen to step inside and get that jab bloodying up his nose.

lol i had Groves up 4-3 before the KO. that was awesome. i think any boxer should think they can be elite or think they are. if not then ****. fighters/athletes are supposed to have confidence. so what if Froch isnt on an elite level skills wise. he has great heart and determination which makes up for his lack of skills and many enjoy fighters with tons of heart. along with that i like Froch cause he steps up to the plate more than many other fighters and both are cocky asses even if one is more than the other. their cockiness isnt the type that rubs me the wrong way like Mayweather. Froch has a few options. Ward II, Chavez Jr, GGG and possibly Martinez if he gets past Cotto next week. all 4 would be tough fights which he would possibly lose but i give him credit to take on another tough challenge if that happens.

Ward was being a salty ass bitch about this fight and only wants to fight at home. **** him. he needs to keep busy instead of suing and making ridiculous demands like thinking he should be a PPV fighter over here. he wont sell for ****.
