Default Good Morning Britain 'heading for the chop after ratings slump'
  • For the past fortnight the show has failed to reach audience share of 15%
  • ITV source says programme 'could be toast' if viewing figures fail to improve
  • Show is being watched by fewer people than Daybreak - which it replaced
  • Last Monday just 270,000 people tuned in to watch the morning show
  • Despite it being a Bank Holiday, 1.17million still tuned into BBC rival
  • ITV denies claims and says programme makers are 'in it for the long game'
  • Programme fronted by Susanna Reid launched in April to great fanfare

I'm not surprised really as soon as Lorraine Kelly comes on I loose interest.

Idk why daybreak gets so much hate :/ I really liked it. Good Morning Britain is extremely boring though.

good. they need to stop copying america and get real this is england . and 4 people at a desk like some kind of interview senario or x factor judges is rather sad.
straight away it puts you of. and they look so awkward

Breakfast TV is all about familiarity, constantly changing shows and formats won't lead to higher ratings. They have to build on what they have instead of looking for a quick fix.
