Default Scooch on the rocks

From The Sun

I’M sending out a musical SOS — but my call for help may already have been answered.

A Stop Our SCOOCH campaign is clearly needed to prevent the camp cretins from embarrassing us at the Eurovision song contest.

A Swedish pop singer called PANDORA has already leapt to the rescue. She has accused Scooch of copying one of her songs and called for Eurovision to ban Flying The Flag (For You) from May 12’s cheese-fest in Helsinki, Finland.

Pandora, also known as ELIN MAGNUSSON, competed to represent Sweden in both the 2003 and 2004 competitions but was pipped at the post both times. She said: “Scooch’s entry is more than similar to my song No Regrets that I released on an album back in 1999.

“I want the Scooch entry to be disqualified.”

The singer, very big in Finland I hear, consulted the Swedish Musicians’ Union, who then complained to the European Broadcasting Union.

In that case, even if Scooch do end up singing they most likely will not be singing that song.

You could also argue it should be in TV chat. That is why I put it in general chat.

Does it matter? I posted the thread about Paris going to jail in the Celebrity Big Brother section by mistake earlier. Bring on the firing squad!

Scooch's song would win if the eurovision wasnt about politics.

"would you like somthing to suck on for landing sir"

GREAT Camp,Brittish double entendre ala "are you being served"

Oh come on, the song is pure Eurovision.
Like psy said, if it wasnt about politics, we'd win no doubt with that song.

Its fun.

I agree Chris. I have said in another post the song has "Eurovision" written all over it. But politics always comes into it unfortunately. That is what makes "Eurovision" such a farce.

Eurovision will always be a farce! If we entered Madonna we still wouldn't win.

Countries vote for their neighbours, it's pointless even entering.
The BBC actually keep the Eurovision running with funding. We really shouldn't bother.

The last time we came anywhere near winning was with a ballad, I'm not sure stuff like Scooch wins eurovision anymore.
