no me and others are not saying it's ok but Jale did come across in her VT as a strong person who can stand up for herself to anyone, and she letting Pauline bully her so people feel sorry for her

EVERYONE acts up in their VT.
When they get in the house it's different.
She has so may people in there against her.
If she walks out they win. It's not like "real life" when you can just walk away.
If she spoke up they would all start shouting at her. Look how aggressive Steven can be ?. And Helen, could Jale really win an argument against that ?
