Yes we can judge but what we judge is our opinion. It is not fact as many people seem to try and make it out as (not aiming this at you btw, being general). For all we know the producers and C5 are happy with the ratings and see no problems... or they're having regular panic meetings trying to find a way of not losing the show.
This constant bickering between people that think ratings are poor and people that think ratings are good is quite tedious to see. It's like neither side can accept people have different views... which is inevitable on a forum. Oh yes I know you're not talking about the show being axed. I was just being general about this forum as a whole since quite a few people are not happy with ratings lol. Anyway I'm neutral about the ratings, I think they're steady and good, but I'm not jumping out my seat like I was for BB14's ratings. I think it'll be 50/50 whether these ratings affect the show being renewed or not. |

Big Brother got 1.25 million viewers and a 6.4% share in total. That's still fairly good. Officials could bump it up to 1.5 or 1.6 but we should remember, it's hot. On Fridays people are likely to be out more, World Cup fever may have impacted that. Imagine all those viewers who decided to stay out after the game, we should also take into account that although some 4 million were watching the World Cup on TV a hell of a lot will be watching it through socialising e.g. Pubs, clubs, parties. So I'd estimate the rating closer to 5 million in fact. It does appear that Friday ratings will continue to be low, perhaps this is the new trend, nonetheless the rating is not poor it is still fair. It's above the million mark and is over Channel 5s annual 3.9% share, so is still making a healthy return profit. Stop with all the negativity. Peace out

It also came 4th in the timeslot, it was narrowly beaten by C4.. But let's be honest, they are two very distinct audience markets. 8OOTC is more male based, BB is more female based.

Seriously though where did you get the 1.25 from because no one can seem to find the plus 1 figures and its annoying the hell out of us lol. BB could be rating far higher than we realise and its not getting reported. |

I think the main issue is that's a really bad time for the show to be getting bad ratings, when the contract renewal is up in the air and all.
