I've never heard of that. Is that like the gel stuff? I've seen the 'sensationail' stuff at work, and it's supposed to be a lasting finish, but I'd probably rather get it done by a nail tech so that it's nice and even.

Shellac is a type of gel nail varnish, you have a manicure in the usual way, but each coat is hardened under a UV lamp for a few seconds, dries instantly as well so no smudging and it does last at least 14 days with no chipping, its very shiny as, or glittery if you want glitter, costs around 20.00 quid to have done and you have to have it removed professionally, though the last time I had it done I peeled it off myself once it started to chip.
