That's why her reaction bothered me so much though. Since everyone was laughing, I expected her to defend her beliefs, as opposed to laughing with people who she herself knew have ridiculed her beliefs.
Her laughing can only lead me to conclude that she is either a) faking the whole religious thing or b) she knew full well that her reasons for nominating Ash was ridiculous.

well no I disagree with both of those conclusions, this was after the night that the group with Ash had finally kind of accepted her. She obviously just wanted to brush it off to remain cool with them.
