I should add that good looking women have won, but strong, good looking women have not.

Kate was a very strong, independent, athletic, tomboy girl who stood up to everyone she had a confrontation with in the house.

I don't think she was all that independent. I recall her hanging on to Alison, then Spencer, then Johnny.

But I did make a possible exception in her case. I still think she won because people just wanted a girl to win that year and she was the best of the two options.

She didn't hang on to them their friendships were 100% just that.

She bonded with them, when Alison left she was devastated, pretty much the same with Spencer.

I don't think there will ever be another Kate.

Brilliant winner.

But that's partly why she won. Her mates kept getting evicted, she ended up on the poor side 3 weeks in a row and then the audience decided it was time for a female winner. There was nothing particularly special about her.

There's nothing special about any of them. They simply won Big Brother.

Yeah Kate was so devastated over Alison's eviction that she FORGOT HER A FEW WEEKS LATER what a joke. Probably the most overrated winner ever, her or Brian.

As opposed to the majority of the other winners who either didn't contribute to their series or seriously hindered it?

Miss Lawler.

She was feisty, stood up for herself, fun, rebellious, intelligent and had a temper.

I would say that Chantelle in CBB4 really did stand her ground considering she was the only complete unknown.
