I could be wrong, but I've seen Ash get on with everybody in there and same for Ashleigh, but when they are forced into a situation together they both seem to regress very far into themselves, I can't think of a rational explanation as to why they'd do that especially as they have quite a lot in common...

That's true.. Unless it's just because Ash is scared to admit that he likes Ashleigh (as a mate or otherwise) infront of Helen? I think he did say the other day "I like Ashleigh", but only once Helen and Ashleigh had made their little truce
