Is the USA version different. Steven would of course considered himself an "expert" on how to play and win so the decision to open it would have been more strategy than desire. He would have know what would be shown on TV and how but did she.?

I think she has been living in the UK for about 3 years, not 100% sure though. She probably has watched BB before and am sure they would have both been well aware of what would be shown, even though he says not.
