The point is that they asked people to vote, and some took the time to do it, they were then repeatedly lied to about what they voted for afterwards. Lied to on the show, lied to on BOTS and lied to in the press releases. Rylan is shocked. Emma is shocked.

And you're still here playing the contrarian.

Does all of this not strike you as bizarre in the extreme? And the fact it all came about after the Save Ashleigh campaign and the petition to stop the removal of the public vote from the eviction process?

You keep asking people to prove something dodgy is going on and ask for motive, as if we're in a court of law here. But I can't understand how a fan of the show on a fansite can time and time again defend this utter mess of a show.

Every complaint they have this year, they seem to respond by doing something that is even more of a slap in the face to the viewers. There was a complaint about taking the public vote out of an eviction, so what did they do next? They did it again! Having done this, they know full well it led to a further breakdown in trust between the viewers and the show, and so what have they done now? They've blatantly lied to the viewers of the show.

Nevermind Ashleigh more often than not being involved in some way, have you ever seen such a complete and utter mess of a television show?

They never even said that whoever was voted on that app would be the housemate, they said 'if the power returns'

And I already answered your questions about whether I think it's dodgy and my answer remains the same, NO it's all part of the Power Trip twist.

The fact is if Helens Pass had been revoked last night or another twist that never affected any of your or the people complainings faves then you all wouldn't be moaning about fixes right now. Not that theres anything wrong with being annoyed at twists that negatively affect your favourite housemate but that doesn't make it a fix, just a twist that you don't like.

Yes, I know that. But they said repeatedly afterwards that they would be immune. They said it on the show, they said it on BOTS and they said it in the press releases. I can't recall them lying to the viewer like that very often. And people did vote on it thinking that it might mean something.

No, it's all great isn't it. The presenters are now acting shocked at what's going on, and every other forum and fansite is fed up.

I couldn't have cared less about Marlon, but I was against the removal of the public vote. The producers may as well have walked in and led him out on that Monday. As for Helen and her free pass, that was a bad idea from the start and that would have gone for anyone. But it has indeed been made all the more repugnant by the nature of the person.

What people are fed up with is being lied to by the production team. And you can see from the reaction of the presenters of the show that even they are now wondering what on earth is going on. But you persist in thinking nothing of it

No it isn't great, the twists are too much, there's too much interfering with nominations, there's too much power being removed from the public.

I don't persist in thinking nothing of it and wish it was back to basics ad the way the show should be but I don't agree with the fix claims.

As for Emma and Rylan well maybe they expect too much being presenters? Davina never always knew what the twists would be as far as I remember.

..I think the most important rule of all and the only rule is that programmes only exist/continue and thrive with viewers/fans so that audience is something that always has to be kept ‘onside’ ..I don’t believe in any ‘FIX’ theories btw, if Ashleigh goes then she goes, I’ve never had an out and out favourite this year..it is though obviously slanted and manipulated so that we see what they want us to of housemates which has always been the way since live feed ended but with some of the released vid titles this year and how OTT they’ve been, I do think that the dislike of housemates is being ‘hyped’/encouraged more... so these reactions are probably exactly what they want and maybe it’ll work out for them with all the discussion created by the twists and people will continue watching future series but it is a bit ‘risky’ and maybe in the end the final twist will be on them (BB)... in that they’ll lose their audience...I don’t know whether the FIX thing just exists on forums because I’m just going by what fans are saying on forums, here and DS etc or if it’s something that is a big thing on social sites as well but it could be very damaging to BB ....because with any TV programme, the real power is always with the public...

You don't think Marlon was penciled in for eviction on Monday then? You don't think they knew exactly who would be up and out by just deciding the person with the most nominations would be evicted?

That looks like pretty blatant rigging of the show to me. And if they did that then, they will do it every time if they so wish. And they'll definitely feel they can do it when people keep defending them.

Danielle is the only other option.
Of the 3 newbies, Biannca was the one who hated Danielle the most. If you change it so that the decision is made AFTER Biannca is evicted there is an even greater chance that Ashleigh is chosen because the main Danielle hater is no longer part of the equation.
Ashleigh was going to be evicted. Then at the last minute Zoe and Pav had a change of heart. So Danielle was evicted.
If you cannot see the manipulation that is right in front of your eyes you need to pay Marlon a visit
So basically you are still saying that every twists, decision and so on is set up to get Ashleigh out of the house?

No Im sorry I disagree with that and have posted lots of times why, I'm not going back round in circles about it again.

This thread was about the rules and twists in general not one specific housemate.

Marlon would have been up and out regardless though, so would you be saying he was pencilled in for eviction had the public voted him normally because that's what was happening?

Anything could have happened in that time. They did that "twist" knowing full well he was going to get the most noms.

We don't know that he definitely would have been voted out. Some people were feeling sorry for him.

Have you read this thread I made? That explains it all. The reason is because the producer/s hate Ashleigh. Exactly the same as you, me and all the rest of public have housemates they love and hate.
Do you think it is fair that producers can be biased like the public?
If what I described in my thread does happen would you change your opinion?
