I didn't understand his nice comment about Helen or the other housemates because they acted horribly :/ I guess they did that all behind his back.

I choose to believe that any emotion shown is genuine because emotions would be ridiculously heightened in there. They might cry over silly things, but their whole world has been that house for the last 50 days. And even if they're not close to each other, they've been stuck in that house with those people for 50 days and they would probably still feel guilty about nominating and whatnot (especially when it's PH nominating rather than regular nominations). It did all seem strange, but we don't see a lot of what goes on in there.
