A bit controversial but I cant help but think his turban and ethnicity have heightened the distrust and general dislike toward him. Hes a bit dull but honestly seems an OK guy, its all getting a bit unseemly now being openly (for want of a better word) bullied is a bit much.

It makes him "different" which probably doesn't help when they are suspicious of the newbies anyway.

Exactly, as stupid as it sounds it takes little more than a turban or something 'not quite english' to make the public turn on him. His VT didnt do him any favours tbh but still most of their VTs made them look like total dicks.
