My suspicion is that the 'Illuminati' thing (especially its proliferation in pop culture) is just a psy-op. Of course, it's used as a tool to make people who bring up the evils of government 'paranoid' and 'dogmatic'.

Anyway, it's certainly made me a bit more wary of her - even though I have little doubt that she's just regurgitating it as a common motif of that culture, there's always something a bit weird about famous people aligning themselves with a theoretical group that is supposedly very sinister.
