The likely outrage at her 10 year old watching this programme so late each night and as to this series content particularly, would have begged the question who had she entrusted the care of her child to while being in the house. |

Well said Ellen, when I was at Uni I often didn't hear from my parents for months sometimes, nor they from me obviously, we know how much we cared for each other. Shocking in my view that all sorts of 'speculation' is being thrown about on a 10 year old boy, who is not even in the house or has had any connection to same other than his Mum is in it. Also, another point that is being overlooked, what if he had written a letter to his Mother but someone else other than Winston got to decide who got their letters and then Helen wasn't chosen to get hers. That young lads effort could have got discarded and how may he have been left to feel then that his Mum didn't get his letter. We hear a little bit about looking out for Ashleigh for instance because she is only 18 but unnecessary and unpleasant speculation can be made as to a 10 year old boy, whose Mother just happens to be the main hate figure of this BB series. Why should there have to be a full blown message from him and as you say he doesn't have to watch the show and maybe he shouldn't be anyway. So what is the point of him being the one to have to send a message,I see none at all. It is no big deal at all in my opinion. IT doesn't matter if he can write or not, why should he not be able to write, you don't know the child. Perhaps it is just as well he isn't watching this farce of a series, I for sure wouldn't want any of my children if I had any of that age watching this series for sure. |

We all on here have no idea as to that at all and he is not in BB himself anyway, so for me should not be used as a tool to attack Helen with in the absence of any real knowledge as to him or what he is like too. Clearly Helen has placed him with a very responsible person, her closest friend in fact while she is in the BB house. For me that speaks volumes in itself. I find it really sad that to get at Helen it can be to use a tiny snippet of info on a 10 year old boy who likely loves his Mother and she him too. At 10 years of age I would never have sent a message to anyone in BB nor would I have been even allowed to by my Parents. I actually think that is right too,'in my opinion'. Conclusion: Helen feeds him cheeseburgers, the friend doesn't, he'll be glad when Helen gets back and he can get cheeseburgers again. That is what I took out of it, you obviously take something different out of it but you didn't say what. Anyway, this is a ridiculous conversation really, whether someone gives their kid cheeseburgers or not, just as criticizing a teenager for having an inch of roots in her hair or having spots is ridiculous. I think we all need to get a little less petty about little things, myself included. It's like tit for tat, you see something petty about your fave, so you are petty about their fave in return. What are we all like?
