..I agree with both of you..watching it properly on the HL, I think that no one 'hates' Helen as much as Helen hates herself ...I don't think she did deliberately twist it TS..I think she only hears certain things and those things are usually just negatives ..I think she is quite 'wounded' but the problem is that other people in life and others in the house are also possibly quite wounded as well and she doesn't allow for that..she sees her own wounds and imperfections so clearly/too clearly really but that has made her so unforgiving of anything negative in anyone else and she judges people so harshly in a way that she fears being judged herself...her 'wounds' have kind of dominated everything, maybe because part of them were so public before, whereas others weren't..?...it's hard really because I've been a bit torn with Helen from the start in trying to understand why she is how she is and why she behaves and reacts how she does and I do feel empathy for her over certain things but then no matter how much empathy I feel or anyone feels..the end result is the same in that by her 'stripping' any positive from anything in herself and others, it just makes people around her feel miserable and being around someone like that would just be an awful feeling for most...I found it interesting when she once 'turned' on Ash because she felt he had said something negative against her, which he did but sometimes friends will point things out that you don't want to hear but for Helen..I think 'loyalty' means only ever thinking or saying things she wants people to and complete positives...so in a way it is a 'sheep' type thing, which on the surface of her character would be someone she would say she didn't like in life..?... ..I don't want her to win because I think somehow she would still not see it as whatever 'acceptance' she is looking for and somehow turn that into a negative as well..but maybe I'm wrong about that...I do think..(whether it will have any long term effect on her life at all or not..)..that if/when she watches things back, she will be shocked at her behaviour and some of the things she has said....or maybe I'm completely wrong and she'll just laugh and thing they were all deserved insults.. ...who knows/not I...

I wouldn't mind but what they were actually saying about Helen, they've already more or less said to her face in the days previous, they didn't like her but now they do (although they've probably gone back to the former again now)
