I don't think she's hated but here is my theory about why some people find it hard to connect with her.
She never played the victim. She could have but didn't. She could have broken down in tears over the bullying she received from a woman nearly 10 years older than her but instead she stood up for herself, gave as good as she got and never felt sorry for herself.
She could have justifiably cried her eyes out on many occasions but instead she chose to vent.
She is very pretty and cant hhelp that so because she is also a tough cookie people don't feel she has been bullied and so lack a connection for her.

Well for a start, Ashleigh was never bullied, people got angry and shouted at her for things she had said and did, so justifiable really as to why people got angry.
You're also implying that the way she looks is also a factor of people not liking her, which is ridiculous, i mean, i'm a guy, why would i not like her because of the way she looks? ive always wanted to be blonde, but that's a bit of a reach as to why i dislike the brat
