Thems my sentiments but as I said for me it is the above three. As Ashleigh said, if one of the others win then good luck to them. Thats my gal!
thats a very sweet idea but not very practical, part of the fun is having favorites and those we love to hate

Im sure those who hate Helen would not say good luck to her if she won, in the same way I would not want to wish Ashleigh luck if she won (doesnt mean I wish her anything else in reality)

You do get the point of this forum, right? I know its not nice but some of us come here to vent about the ones we love and hate, its what its here for

How do advertisers decide that it's worth spending some of their budget on?

The advertisers pay for advertising space/slots, they don't dictate where the money goes. Channel 5 then use the money to pay for their shows. That's how TV works. Why do you think we have advert breaks?

Educate yourself before spouting garbage.

I asked a question - why are you being rude?

If viewing numbers and figures don't have anything to do with it then I guess the program is safe for all time.

Of course it does. Ratings determine how much the advertising slots cost, and the age range of the viewers determine which programme they want to advertise in.

What does "charitable donations" have to do with anything?

I was just saying that as it is the viewers in the end who are the ultimate power behind the whole show and how it is financed, then they can choose to vote for whatever reason they like and why not?

I never said they couldn't vote for whoever they like. I said voting based on what you think the winner will spend their money on is ridiculous as you won't know what it's spent on and it doesn't matter one bit.

You either like a housemate enough for them to win or you don't. What they spend it on doesn't come into it.

Viewers personally have nothing to do with how the show is financed so to make out they have some right or "power" about it is laughable.

If you like or dislike what someone says they will do with the money (whether or not they actually do it) it's all part of maybe how you judge whether you like them or how much you like them. What's ridiculous about that? They may get played but what's new?

Viewers collectively have the power to determine most of what is shown on tv.

I might actually join in with the Helen campaign, I could not cope with how much Ashleigh irritated me in that highlights show!

One passing comment does not equal 'a campaign'!
