..I think because sometimes people only see other housemates in terms of their relationship and interactions with their favourite housemate..?...so if it's like a Helen v Ashleigh thing, in terms of a conflict and rivalry, then they will see the other housemate as the 'enemy' to them also but then sometimes during the course of a series, housemate friendships etc can change drastically and with that, so does the opinion of fans in that they start to see that housemate as less of an enemy/threat to their favourite as that change of heart is reflected on the show..it can be the other way round as well when friendships in the house go bad....friends gone bad sounds like a reality show in itself....
