I couldn't tell you just how many votes there has been for the last few years...and I know that the viewing figures have dropped since the 2004
final....but the voting figures from then were that 6,363,325 votes were cast during the 2004 live final of Big Brother 5. [Nadia's final]

...and I have of course, no way of knowing what today's averages are, but i've a sneaky feeling that the intense rivalry between the fans of the two main protagonists Helen and Ashleigh might well have driven up the figures this year.
