i've said i wanted to smash someone's face in before, doesn't mean i meant it or would ever do it... helen has no history of violence. you can't make her out to be a bad person when Ashleigh has said the exact same thing...

Matthew mocked her body too and commented on her bad plastic surgery, so... bye

Since when was slug a vile comment? It doesn't really make any sense

Most of those things were also said by other housemates (can't believe I'm defending Helen here)

Matthew slagged Off Helen's body her chest mostly iirc both in the house AND when he left.
Ashleigh said she would smash Christopher's head in during their tiff.
Ashleigh called Helen an Ugly Dick, Ugly bitch etc on numerous occasions.

Just off the top of my head.

The fact is LOTS of the housemates said nasty things in there.

The “retarded” face that she pulled at Jale as Jale turned her back and walked away from Helen and friends in the smoking area could be perceived as vile behaviour, surely? Or have I missed some sweeping change in viewer perception where such behaviour is now applauded?

That happened outside of the house, after Ashleigh made the comment, so has no relevance whatsoever and its all just speculation anyway, no sort of fact whatsoever.

I genuinely don't see what the problem is.. They go in there and are supposed to live and react to things they would in the outside world, sex is all a part of life, i wouldn't do it on tv personally, but if other people decide to, i don't see the issue, it certainly doesn't make someone a disgusting person in my books

Life is all about perception. From my point of view I wouldn't do it.
I think doing it on TV is disgusting.
