Hi Ammi if so you have to ask whats Alpha about targeting an elderly guy from another country.If they are trying him out for all the wrong reasons and in the wrong way I think they will get the worst of it.

Regardless of the rights or wrongs of the argument I felt James made himself look a total dick and those involved in the bed prank did themselves no favours.

.. didn't see the bed prank, I hope that's shown in tonight's show..I fear though that Gary will be up for eviction quite a bit because it's not only the 'homophobia' controversy but that he's asked for quiet in the bedroom and I think Leslie mentioned he's a bit of a 'noisy sleeper' lol...so I reckon things generally will have him nominated quite a bit...

The moment Jordan had been waiting for- he was itching to have a go at Gary and if it hadn't been that incident it would have been something else.


James Jordan threatened to hit a 70 year old man. For that he should have had a warning. He also blew the whole incident out of proportion then went around and told the story and the ensuing confrontation the way he saw it in his mind, which is NOT what was said or how it unfoled.


Gary is a very intelligent man and had Jordan in his back pocket.


As for Jordan he is an extremely odious character, thinks the world revolves around him, another one who thinks he has character where in fact he's as boring and as dull as ditch water.

Much was made about alleged bullying in the house by Helen, which didn't take place imho.


But what we saw last night was total out of order where the Geordie Shore lad lost the Rock paper scissors game and then had to pretend that he was inebriated and to get in the wrong bed, the bed of Gary's.

Now if that wasn't bullying and demeaning I am not sure what is and did you notice whose cackle was the loudest- yeah, the ever so nice James Jordan.

..well of the older ones, Claire already seems to be forming a bond with James or they seem very friendly so I think she will be 'against' Gary..so I would say a bit of a mix...

Oh dear I got the impression that James was poking fun at being stripped searched at an airport and that's why Gary's joke upset him - he was having an innocent gag with Leslie and Gary jumps in and calls him gay - that's why I thought he got upset - maybe I'm just old fashioned.

Neither of them came out of it very well though as I think they are both quite arrogant people.

I'm not sure that would make him homophobic, being called gay when you're not doesn't necessarily make you intolerant of gay people, maybe as another poster pointed out that in his industry most men are gay and maybe that's what makes him insecure.........

It's really a generational thing, Gary is 70 years of age, he grew up in a different generation, it's hard when you are brought up with different values....I mean back then the only religion taught in schools were Christian, I remember the school assembly's back in the 60's and early 70's were just Christian, and any-one of a different faith, which were very few back then, just did not come into morning assembly...Until people realise for some-one of Gary's age life was very different, and it's hard to change views when you have lived longer and seen and experienced things so different to this generation.....
