Is that just Britain? No. He brings nationality into it when it doesn't need to be as though he's constantly conscious of "Gary's American".

Gary is Gary, what he's doing is connected to his hearing etc, nothing to do with being an American in England.

As though he's insinuating you can be rude in America but not Britain. He himself disproves that rule instantly.
