I just dislike him as executive producer.

I'm not knocking his credibility because obviously a lot of people love his work, especially since DW is growing in popularity in other countries like America. I'm just not a fan of his take on DW, unfortunately. I try to get into as much as I can since I'm a big fan of the show but it's just too...I don't even know.

He's a very clever writer that sometimes doesn't come across well in a show like Doctor Who. Some of his era has been great, other parts not. His writing suits the style of show that Sherlock is. I still watch religiously but it's not as "good" as it used to be.

Sherlock kind of went off the boil too in series 3.

I think he tries to chuck too many ideas into the pot at once.

Whereas if he spaces them out more (like his standalone episodes) it translates better.
