He gives it away too much based on one game? I've seen Scholes not pass accurately for United before... guess he gave it away too much.

That maybe so, but I don't watch him week in week out, so I can only go by what I've seen of him.

It's 63m including the add ons. Chances of us winning the league or CL anytime soon and the fee ever getting to that number is unlikely and if it does....well who cares as he would if proven to be a huge hit

Yeah, I heard that. Any idea what the initial fee is?

Edit: £59 million initial fee. Rising to £63.9 million.

People seem to be forgetting one small thing

WILL HE START???

With the fee we are paying you would assume so but can he play at a consistently high level to displace Sir Gashley who has performed at an incredible standard so far

Game against Swansea- 8 crosses, 1 successful


Game against Sunderland - 7 crosses, 0 successful

The above stats don't lie and Di Maria will have to be on the top of his powers to dislodge him in his current form

TBH fullbacks in the EPL would prefer to face Angel then Ashley. Although Angel has pace to burn Ashley's trickery and skill makes him a defenders nightmare. More importantly I think Ashley's end product is the real difference between the two and Angel will have to develop that part of his game if he wants to start in this team on a regular basis

£59.7 million deal agreed, all the press reporting it. Depending if certain clauses are met it will rise to £63.9 million.

Great deal and very realistic figure for ADM, bring on the official confirmation tomorrow.

Let's not kid ourselves as usual we have been bent over and held ransom once again great signing but is about 20 mil overpriced

Although it's a 1000X the deal Ashley for 20mil in the last year of his contract was. Now if we can get Vidal for Chico + cash the summer would have been a success

All this "Crazy money, desperate buy when other issues are there" by some media outlets...

Have these people not watched us for the last year or so? Our wingers are pure ****e and pace in attack is a huge problem. Yeah we need a CM to protect the defenders too, but this signing very much solves one of the problems for good. Last summer ****ed us over and it will take a while to sort the squad out completely after that.
