I'm not sure if I doubt his deafness but maybe he does play on it sometimes. Sometimes I think if he doesn't know what to say he says "what? I can't hear" to avoid replying  I do reckon though that he really struggles when lots of people talk at once, like when Stephanie was saying she didn't like him while David and Leslie were talking. As others have said, I think the different accents make it really difficult for him. |
