I find this overdone glorification of Gary, who I find to be a great housemate, a bit too much for me to deal with. I personally don't find him to be such a perfect human being. It's true he may have done a lot more than quite a few others in life - and maybe that's got him somewhere significant - which makes it very strange that he'd be playing the reality show circuit in his latter years.
Maybe it's more like Shakespeare said, that LIFE IS A STAGE.

..I think for me with Dee and that conversation was just silly things she said which made me feel she was just 'going with the crowd' which disappointed me because I have liked her so far...but it was just silly to say Gary had stormed off to the DR after being chosen for the scrapheap and it wasn't anything personal..of course it was personal, Leslie was asked to choose the least entertaining and other housemates were offering to be chosen because of Gary's age/health etc but Leslie just ignored them and chose Gary anyway because of their past differences/that's personal...also Kellie made much more of a fuss or an equal fuss in a different way..?...and Dee has nothing bad to say about her because they seem to have formed a bond..so she's not showing any tolerance to Gary....
..she also sais something like...'we all get on and like each other..'...really, are you in the same show that we're watching Dee..

...the conflicts have been quite monumental...
