I had a suspicion that this might be the case.. That if any of the other housemates speak he'd just be disinterested and interrupt. However, last night's live feed showed differently. James lectured him for ages, then Audley came in so James turned around to lecture him too, and Gary sat and waited patiently for James to finish to have more of a lecture. When Gary went out into the garden to Dee and Claire, they asked how he was, then he asked it back and listened to Dee. Bit daft really to say that Gary never listens to what others have to say when he bloody showered the other day just cause James decided it was time to.

Im watching live feed again now, and James is not lecturing anyone, he is discussing with Gary.. and Gary is actually AGREEING with what he is saying... If you honestly listen to Gary when he is talking with James, he agrees with what James is saying about how rude he is and he admits he needs to change and is trying to change....

As for James deciding it was time for Gary to shower, how pathetic is that? A grown man of 70 years old doesn't realise the need for personal hygiene and self respect? Seriously? at 70 years old you really should know when you need to shower and wash yourself, change your clothes even... My kids knew about personal hygiene right from being old enough to know about it... it's not rocket science..

Gary is a quirky individual. I'm sure he's an absolute nightmare to live with but that does not excuse the way some of the HMs treat him. The snidey remarks and insults just show them up for the cunts they are.

Oh well, at least Gary is the least likely celebrity to walk out.

He has enormous debts and needs the money: http://www.celebritynetworth.com/ric...sey-net-worth/

All rather sad really.

you've just contradicted your own point! You originally said "do you really think Gary cares about how others feel?" to which I responded, and are now saying that Gary takes on board what James says and admits he's trying to change, just because you felt my comment ("lecturing") was a criticism of James. It's getting so bloody old when people relentlessly criticise their least favourite and will never accept any criticism of the ones they like. Just accept that Gary has some good qualities just like everybody else ffs.

At least that's what the Busey fans would have you believe... That's actually quite complimentary to James to think that 1 man could be so influential over the other hm's thought process....

As David said last night on BOTS.. and exactly as I've said from the start, WE see a heavily edited condensed hour from 24 hours recording, I can only imagine how irritating the bloke is 24 hours a day in a confined space. He does not listen to other people's opinion, he doesn't lift a finger, he doesn't even wash unless he is prompted to do so.. I cannot imagine, and don't want to imagine, just how bad he is to live with..
You need to watch the live feed to see how he is pushed out.....they are all sheep living in a pen and the gate is firmly closed for Gary. Yes James and Leslie did begin it all, it only takes one or two sheep and the others keep in because they want to be pat of the larger group to avoid nominations. Mind you they have turned on Leslie now....Couldnt stand watching Davids ego last night, his page is all about his body!! I fast forwarded it, thank goodness for that button.

I've seen many people say 'his disability shouldn't define him, that's just a small part of him, he's a person beyond that' then the next minute 'How dare they look past his disability and treat him that way!' People can't have it both ways I'm afraid.

It's always the same with the Celebs, they take a dislike to the American housemates as noms always show. I also remember Jim D getting hate from a lot his year, but he took it in his stride and went on to win I wouldn't take the word of a disgruntled David peeved that he was evicted first, must have been such a blow to that oversized ego of his.

Gary for the final hopefully

I just watched the live feed again from last night.
There was no pushing out last night. Seriously consider what it must be like living with him..

Gary is a fool to himself tbh, he doesnt have to keep on apologising and saying that he is learning. He is his own man and he is far better than the lot of them. How many of them are learning, how many of them will admit it, they all think they are so b.... great. James is the worse one, condescending and trying to make himself look good in the publics eyes. It isnt working.

Gary said to him in the first place...he got him to repeat his first question, James was trying to say why he nominated Gary, Gary insisted that he ask his first question again. The question was "are you ok" Gary told him that he was fine, he did not hold grudges and that everything was ok. In other words there wasnt any need to explain. James still went on and on and on, trying his hardest to put Gary in his place with the silly little Stephanie smirking underneath here covers. James was trying to make Gary look small in Stephanies eyes because yes, he fancies her alright. Sadly Gary thinks that James is his friend, it is a shame that Frenchy isnt there with him to tell him what a plonker he is. He waited for James to follow him out of the bedroom, when he didnt do it because he wanted to talk to Stephanie, she had called him over, he told Gary to go on and that they werent going to talk about him. Gary went and they talked about Gary....great friend eh!! She advised James not to take any notice of what Gary said, the little brat.

Then his majesty James, either before that incident or after, cant remember now, had to go out and tell Audley what he had actually said, he put the blame on Stephanie. We saw it all James. Go and sort yourself out and look to your own faults, you are not capable of sorting anyone else out. He didnt like the boos and the cry of "get James out" he declared that he was funny....Hopefully they will shout again on Friday.

FFS read back what you have put and think about it please.

I stand by what I said. I don't think Gary cares that some of the housemates take the piss out of him, I think he does see the genuine side of James, do you actually watch live feed or do you need me to watch it again and transcript it for you. In fairness, I struggle to see Gary's redeeming qualities.. but I do see that James has a difficult side.. I can see the bad in my favourites... can you in yours?

David was honest when he came out...if he had said the opposite he would be called two faced! He didn't get on with Gary and admitted it on BOTS.

I think that the majority of us have watched BB long enough to know that none of the HMs are perfect, they each have their own agenda. Many accept them for what and who they are, not out of sympathy or adulation just respect and the love of something different other than bedding, sex talk, bitching etc. etc.

Havent really seen many do gooders for Gary, only people who respect him. I love the cultural difference and I love learning from it but sadly I always think that the Brits let themselves down. Imo none of them can compare with some of the Americans we have had on the show, in this instance it is, Gary.

I wonder who will be let out of the sheep pen tomorrow, hopefully Stephanie.
