Frenchy and Gary are the only ones who have brought anything of any interest into the house, the rest are just boring also rans. People wonder why the rest don't like them? Pretty obvious really. People can hate on Gary and Frenchy till the cows come home, it won't make any difference to the result until 1 of the 11 starts behaving like an adult and brings something relevant and interesting to the table. I am willing to bet that there are many people grateful to him and his partner for their input in the charity they began. Jimmy Saville was involved in any, many charities, whats your point?.. And before anyone jumps in with 'How dare you compare him to Jimmy Saville, that's disgusting you bully' I'm not comparing him to Jimmy Saville in any sort of way, just pointing out that just because someone does things for charity, it doesn't automatically make them a good person, or makes them deserve more respect than anyone else in the world.

If you don't want Gary to win then slating him for his disability is the worst way to go about it. The ultimate irony is that he will win precisely because of ignorant people, who don't like him, getting the brain injury thing wrong.

Ah I agree totally, many adored Saville and look how he turned out to be. I am only studying Gary at the moment though and what I see I admire totally, in my eyes he has earnt respect and that was the question. There are many stars who have really let us down.

He does respect other people and he deserves the same respect back, have you seen Gary ignorantly walking away from people mid conversation? have you seen him belittle and bitch behind others backs? have you seen him make aimed comments at another housemate?

Funnily enough I haven't seen him doing any of these things but I have seen others in there constantly do it to him yet HE is supposed to respect them but it's ok if they don't respect him.

When Gary got cheered last night and got the most votes to save, and James got booed, did none of them think "Hold on a minute, perhaps we have this wrong. Perhaps we should re-evaluate gary and our treatment of him. Perhaps we should discuss it"?

He has been rude a couple of times not 'constantly' and even that doesn't make him disrespectful.

What nonsense.

Disabled people have been in before and would obviously not be able to do some things that other people do.

Steve was in there (the one who was blown up by the IRA), Vern Troyer who is 2 feet tall was in there. Mikey was in there who was blind.

Criticising and ostracising gary for doing things related to his brain injury is the equivalent of bullying steve because he couldn't move round the house fast, or the equivalent of bullying Vern because he couldn't reach things.
