A piece of fruit or a yoghurt etc is good between your meals to keep you going.
But no way would a diabetic be allowed on all those carbs.
Plus, he would need to keep to more regular meal times, for his meds as much as anything.

Ha,must depend where you live or what the nurse feels like telling you chuff.
3 decent meals a day, and 2 small snacks if needed. I wonder if it depends on when you take your insulin, I take mine last thing at night my brother has always taken his after meals etc.
Where I go really wrong is the 5 a day...I go for 5 fruit, me bad.

There is no way Leslie could eat all that rice and pasta, and at all hours of the day.
