He didn't claim the quote as his own though did he?

He just repeated something that he'd heard and said that he likes it. Can't see much wrong in that and it certainly doesn't prove that he's........ FAKE.

Quoting or paraphrasing doesn't make someone fake. Copying others from the day we are born is a natural part of the learning process. We absorb, store, and utilise information from others throughout our lives, whether it is via real life, film, theatre or books. Gary is very evidently a spiritual, intelligent person with an enquiring mind and to recycle a phrase he may have heard in which he recognises merit, is not fake but completely natural. As another forum member - Mr Wong - pointed out, had Gary claimed authorship of the phrase, or even the idea behind it, then that would be different. Just like the anti-Gary lobby within the house, you really do seem to be in danger of clutching at non-existent straws to justify your dislike of him.
