Do it!! A lot of their fans say it's their best album. It's a re-release of the 2003 album. To celebrate 10 years they re-released it with demos, some live versions, and 30 minute documentary. I stupidly bought the Vinyl package and I don't even have a record player.

..does the vinyl package have the cd as well..?..I think that's what I'll get as well, I don't have any way to play vinyl atm either but it is something I want to get sometime as I have lots of vinyl albums in my loft...David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Elton John, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Free and Bad Company, Neil Young...hmm I can't remember what they all are but there are quite a few...I love owning stuff, especially music and books..which is why I always still by CDs and don't download...

I'm not a fan of Waking the Fallen or Sounding the Seventh Trumpet to be honest.. I think City of Evil and the self-titled are their best albums... I only like about 3 or 4 tracks on WtF.

I like Nightmare and Hail to the King, but they pale in comparison to the self-titled.. it's my favourite. Gunslinger is one of my favourite tracks off it.

No no CD, you get a download card thoug to get the songs. And it doesn't come with the demos either. I had to download the leaked version of the demos.

Fair enough, but it's rare to hear of an A7X fan not liking waking the fallen, it's usually that or city of evil.

I like some tracks off of sounding the seventh trumpet. I think if they remastered some of those it would be amazing. People don't like the screamo style on it but I think in some of those tracks if they remove the screamo and just sing they could be classics.

Yup... most of the people I know who love A7X really like WtF... I am in the minority.. I guess I just prefer their sound when it evolved in the middle years... when you listen to all 6 studio albums, you can hear the change in their style... I think from City of Evil onwards they are more rock, less metal..

With Hail to the King, I feel it's like a throwback to late 80s/early 90s metal sound.. the influence from that era is obvious when you listen to it.

..you can get it on CD though..?..it's just how I have to have my music, I have to have something to own....


..yeah, I kind of got that with the revenge and eternal love type thing and yeah it does have a certain romance about it.....maybe I need to listen without the vid because there was cannibalism there as well..?..see, that was just a little step too far for me because these people that are sometimes reported as looking for love so that they can find a like minded person who doesn't mind being chopped up and eaten, creep me out a little...and I think for some reason that popped into my head when I was watching the vid.../weird...

..this is much more fun with them singing it live, I think the vid is a bit distracting from the song because of the story going on, on the screen..I checked out Amazon earlier and they have the cd and a vinyl box set, it's quite expensive but I haven't bought anything for myself in ages and I have Birthday money so I'm thinking maybe I'll treat myself....
