I have lactase tablets that let me eat some dairy without having too much of a reaction but i never remember to take them until its too late.

...ahhh I didn't realise you could get anti lactose intolerant medication so you could have a bit sometimes...I'm the same with eggs but I do occasionally have them anyway just because I want to but also because (similar with those who suffer from IBS I guess..)..I do think that with intolerances, it's kind of good to introduce a little at times to see if the intolerance could be 'pushed' a little and just to have more of a balance and a little of everything...so long as it's not going to send you into anaphylactic shock or anything and I'm not a medical person, it's just how I rationalise things..that nothing should be 'never' and maybe it could improve the intolerance over time..?..but yeah, awful for your day though I know....I hope the ice-cream was nice and (kind of) worth it...ice-cream quite often is..

...mind you, egg and chips once or twice a year and the discomfort it brings as well is heavenly...there is no more satisfying pain like it...even childbirth doesn't come close and seeing that little face in front of you....
