..although I was a Gary fan most definitely and didn't particularly like James..thought he was arrogant/pompous and self righteous etc...this really for me is what has spoilt it all somewhat this year..disagreeing on a housemate, being completely opposed in opinions is something that has always been with BB and makes it interesting but insulting and being rude to members for those opinions is completely unnecessary and it's happened all too often in both BBs this year..and it's sad to see so many people who have stopped posting because of it because they're opinions whether agreed with or not are equally as interesting as anyone else's....

Yes, everyone has different opinions, to a lot of people it's how you go about putting it across. It's all well and good saying "I'm honest" but if you are pompous, condescending, obnoxious and arrogant with that view it's not going to sit well, especially when it is constant. To me he comes across this way to make himself feel better, perhaps to temporarily diminish his own insecurities and doubt which makes him an even worse personality.

..yeah I agree that I think his behaviour masks many insecurities..whether they be deep rooted ones or to do with his loss of place on Strictly and maybe a 'crisis' in his life, I really don't know but I do hope he resolves whatever his 'demons are'..I.and no, it's never going to sit well with the public to behave as he has done because it's only behaviour and the effect of it that we really mostly look at and no matter how much empathy or understanding we try to have, the results of that behaviour to the people around him are the same..interestingly in this case though I don't think Gary or Audley were that particularly effected anywhere near in a way that they may have been because they're both in such a good place and so much 'secure' within themselves...I do think that 'failing' to get a reaction not just for James but for some other housemates as well just made them completely frustrated and maybe 'worse'..?...because they're not in the place that Audley and Gary are and so would like to be...because they can't be and can't 'reach it' they sneered, you know..?...

I agree,I think the fact that Gary and Audley were always so calm really wound up alot of those highly strung egos in there.They very rarely got the reactions they wanted.I do this at home to my misses sometimes when she pee'd off and laying in to me,I just laugh and it gets her soo angry!I am a fairly calm person and it takes alot to get me mad.Same with those two,Especially Audley.
