I think they're good because it shows what you really look like, cause when you see yourself in the mirror you don't usually look the way you think you look. It's kind of like hearing your own voice in a recording, you don't really know how other people see/hear you. Selfies are better than using a mirror when you want to know how you look.

I agree with this, but selfies as there now called, have been around since cameras began really when u think about it.
