I can't help but feel that there could be a chance this lad didn't do anything or might not have even been going to rape her.
When you have mob justice like this it's so easy to accuse somebody of doing something without due process and with enough clout behind you accidents can happen. Humans are fallible to lying and making mistakes. Last edited by Kyle; 10-10-2014 at 05:52 PM. |

According to the article he had pinned the girl against a wall.
Now I'm not saying he wouldn't have been going to rape her cos he probably would but unless Tom Cruise and pre-crime had it all worked out before hand then I don't know how they could be 100% sure. Now if the article could explain a little more about the circumstances of his discovery, was he trying to forcibly tear her clothing, gag her mouth? Or was he trying to get at her belongings? It's a bit vague. On the subject of mob retribution though which I thought this thread was about I still believe it is open to massive abuse. Don't like someone? Why not accuse them of apostasy and have them hung? |
