It doesn't matter what genre they're going to go out into after the show though, it's about there being a theme and people sticking to it, they should be able to show their versatility.

Look at the backlash Tulisa got when she gave Little Mix a Kesha song on rock week, there was uproar, so i don't see how it's fair for Simon to ignore the theme himself.

Well I'm all for the abolition of themed weeks to be honest Unless they're really broad like UK #1s, Queen/MJ... maybe some better ideas that're more current would be a sort of 'Live Lounge' week with acoustic/stripped-back current songs rather than 'big band' ones.

Not one of them are going to release big band music, and to be honest no one has on the show since Leon Jackson. Pretending it's an interesting genre to anyone other than the nannas is futile.

I mean expecting Fleur/Only the Young to do big band is no different to expecting Andrea or Ben to do hip-hop.

I don't think there should be themes either, just let them choose the songs they like and suit them best and let them get on with it i think, but since there are themes, i believe they should be stuck to

What makes you think that they haven't given Stereo Kicks that song? The production could be trying to protect them like they're doing with Fleur.

Are the 3 pets going to be on in the last 3 this week? Meaning Fleur, Stereo Kicks, and Jay.

You know what, knowing Louis it wouldn't surprise me if they had been given it.. but they're probably going to be doing something by the Rat Pack, 'That's Life probably.

You can pretty much assure one of those 3 will be last, more so Jay than anybody else.

I liked Leona's version of Summertime (despite hating the song) but I know that when Andrea does an inferior version of it he'll be torn apart.

And with Lauren I think she will do okay tomorrow, it just depends on if the performance will be good enough to attract votes though.

It's to be expected though to be fair. If they're gonna insist on giving him all these big diva songs (some or most of which have been done on the show before) then he's gonna be compared to superior performances of the songs.

I hope you're right, it really worked for Diana and I think Lauren's voice will sound wonderful on the song.

But his like Lauren for not moving around the stage very much, heck he doesn't even take a few steps on most of his performances lol.

I do like Ben though, but I just find it strange that a Rocker is stuck by the Mic-Stand and not move in the slightest.

Btw I had a look at who doesn't like Lauren on DS, I only did it quick but it seems to follow the FB crowd.
