All of Canada, and all the viewers knew he was gay. He wasn't ashamed of being gay or afraid of coming out, he was an out gay man in real life. He choose to not make being gay the focal point of his being in the house because he thought that it would put a target on his back with the recent string of gay/transgender men in all the BB's winning (or in Gary's case, nearly winning). He isn't campy gay like most other gay figures in BB, and so he used it as an advantage. He flirted with the girls for info and for alliances, but he didn't have a showmance or anything.

What I don't understand is, what does his sexuality have to do with who he is in a game like BB. He wasn't going to have a relationship in the house. Why does sexual preference have to come into how we judge anybody, gay or straight or bi. I am not going to hate on someone for not telling me or others what they do in their bedrooms on their own time, and I am not going to hate on them if they do tell me. Your sexuality or my sexuality have nothing to do with our value as people.

So hating someone who is gay for not making it the focal point of who they are as a person is crazy.
