Wen they are only just taking over the channel it doesn't really give people high hopes for the shows future.
They said they are going to see how it performs and that will determine wether or not they continue with it or give it the axe.
I get what your saying but even though what they are saying is fair enough I don't really think they should put that negativity and uncertainty out there. You would never hear ITV put one of their shows under fire and open it to negative press.
Anyway the point I was making is that the channel is doing very poor at the moment and when CBB pulls in almost 4 million viewers surely bosses will be creaming over that, confirmation of this actually is their recent decision to extend it to 5 weeks after saying they wanted less BB on the channel.

ITV always do it with X Factor. It gets the press talking in some way = attention = higher ratings.
