..maybe it was a defence thing at school..that you thought people might tease you about your sexuality so it was like pre-empting it and then 'attacking' type thing so they left you alone...do you think..?..

..school can be unkind as well and you don't always find someone you connect with either...did you have a few close friends there/any teachers you really liked..?...(I have to go now, I'll be back in a bit.....)...
